TomTom Start 25 - Confused if map updating is actually possi

Hi all,

My other device is as above but i cannot seem to connect it to the computer, when plugging it in via usb it doesn't give me the option to connect therefore i cannot access the device. Does anyone know why this happens?


I read the post that states that the "Start 40/45/50/52/55 Series" you cannot do much with as it uses Linux code or such but there is no mention of the 25. Is the 25 variant different or would it be much the same so unable to update?


Finally, under settings to view navcore / device software it shows as 25.6 which is not on the table for map compatibility at all so im a little confused here too.
