I only think we don't understand each other correctly. Within the Europe West-map, you've got three different options. I was wondering if I'm able to change for expamle from option 1 to option 2. The zone itself is okay.

Dear o Dear.

You gave a link and on the bottom of that page is written.
To see how to change your active zone, see Changing a Map Zone (TomTom HOME).

I don't use the Options or the Zones personally, but I would have thought that by changing Zone you could reselect the Option. So if you DE-select your Zone for another, then RE-select it, you may be able to choose the Option for that Zone. But, I have no experience of doing that, I am just using logic.

You can find out which map zone coverage applies to your device by connecting it to TomTom HOME.

To my knowledge.
Depending on the device you have Home offer you the right option.
So you have no influence on the option only on the zone.

I downloaded Europe West, but after installing on my TomTom I was wondering why Germany is not present. After some research it seems I've downloaden Option 1 (of the three options available for Europe West). Is there any possibility to change to Option 2, or do I just have bad luck.
For the zones, check [Please Register or Login to download file] ... om-home%29

None of the Europe_West maps contain Germany.

If you want Germany included, you'll have to download a different map like: Europe/Europe_Zone_1/Western_Europe etc etc

To find out which country is included in which map, download Poteo_Roke's excel document on the following page:

No, unfortunately it's only possible with pre September 2012 devices that use TomTom Home

Is there a meta available. Are you using an up-to-date fastactivate? Can this map be used by your device?

TomTom v675 maps, that is antiquated
1. Your navcore is 8.010
2. look at chart Image look for you navcore and then look fook for map numbers that you can use.
3.You must make sue that the map you are downloading has a meta available. http://www.navitotal.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=20611.
4. Download a current copy of fastactivate.
5. Go to tutoriaks here. http://www.navitotal.com/viewforum.php?f=80
