Because with Home you got the official paying map. It seems to me that you looking for a free map.
If you use a second number map (second ?) home don,t react. Furthermore, why you want to use Home it is not really needed.

Make sure you download a map that can be activated with a matching meta code...otherwise you'll get a *.DCT error.

Wich country you talking about.

He's in Italy so I'm assuming he hasn't downloaded either of the Italy maps that DO have a meta code:

Italia 1025_9386
Italia 1025_9389

He downloaded a map that doesn't have a meta code therefore it can't be activated:

Italia 1025_9432

I got the map 1025 and installed in to my tomtom but while activation its say *.*. dct error
why is this?
