a go 930t with truck on but no truck attributes

i just being coned on eBay with a tomtom 930 truck but when i put the dimensions in it says no truck attributes i am at a loss wot to do with it buyer dissapeared and i am lots on money out a pocket

There is no 930 Truck and if it has a truck map on it that it is highly likely that it is not a legal copy.
Correct way would be to inform Ebay and Paypal to get your money back as it clearly is fraud.
The other way would be to download the 8.398 Truck Navcore and the current Truck map from here and do it yourself.
Depends on what you paid for it and how you want to proceed.
Compatibilty is no problem as the 930 can handle the Truck Navcore and map with ease.

Since these are Truck/Work navcores, TT.com does not list them. Based on the small difference in the version build numbers, 8.396.1914 & 8.398.1917, there are only minor improvements.

just a quick question,
I bought the tt go 950 live just before xmas.
I have also just bought tt smart suite off ebay with low bridges.
just put them on last night and will try it out on locals today.
Will the 8.398.go on the 950.with-out causing any problems to my live services ect,

X50 devices can use a modified Truck Navcore but there are a few obstacles.
Therefore a 950 is not really a good choice for using truck features.
You can find a 8.398 for X50 devices [Please Register or Login to download file] .
It will reboot once after the first start, which is normal and should not be interrupted.
Biggest obstacle is that you have to hold the power button for 15+ sec to shut the device down.
I can't make a guarantee for your live services, but you will need the backup of the devcie to copy the necessary files over to the truck Navcore.
