Hi,
I am a newbie but thanks to your site i have been able to update my satnav with navcore and uk&ire maps and speed cameras. I would like to use the 885_4008 Europe map but because of its size i think it will need to go on an sd card.
1) What size sd card will my Go520 take?
2)What will i need to do to load the 885_4008 map onto the SD card and use it from there?

1. Any size.
2. Put the map, a copy of your 520 ttgo.bif file & FastActivate 1.8.8.5 on the card. Run FA & click the first 2 buttons, 1 at a time, from left to right.

DONE!

I have same model as you and I have a 4gig SD card with the whole Europe map on. I did recently update to a new UK & Ireland map to my Satnav internal memory using 885-4008. It fits into the memory without the need for SD card.
Just cut out the contents of the UK map folder on the unit paste it somewhere on your pc for backup. This should then free up the space needed for the new map.
