Hi,

Having a problem installing meta

!!! There is no key for Western_Europe_1GB-163.meta in 'Meta.txt'

Am I right in thinking this meta isnt available yet?

The meta is available for that map, please use our new keygen to do this find it here :- http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2011-FastActivate_09.07.2010&p=7867#post7867 , Just copy the .exe to your device root and run , thats it job done the map will now be active

Executed as instructed, however still get an error...."Problem with map, You cannot use this map on this device:Western_Europe_1Gb"

Any ideas?

I knew that password is : navitotal
The problem is "CRC failed in the encripted fie" on part 7 .This is the message from winrar . I have tried to repair the archive of part 7 but with the same result..... So the problem is on part 7 .Could you reupload this part ?

Should probably add the steps I have performed so far, this is my first update attempt....

Deleted original "Western_Europe_1GB" folder from root of device
Copied new map folder to root "Westewrn_Europe_1GB_850.2820" (Note I didn't rename the folder t the original folder name - does this matter?)
Copied FastActivate into map folder
Executed FastActivate - Clicking Yes on prompt (I have TT One 3rd Ed)
Rebooted device, then got error message.

Any help much appreciated

For a patchd map to work , You need to patch your navcore or use a pre-patchd version ???

Ok confirm you followd the instructions in post #01 , if you have please re-download the problem file

[color="Red"]Extract using WinZip 3.90 or WinRar. Place in folder, extract last part, all will extract. Do not use 7Zip or you will get CRC error[/color]

This is probably the bit I haven't done correctly.....

I used the KeyGen 2009 and executed...

Patch System.....didn't work orginally....had an error "You need a genuine non-patched file"....however tried again and it has successfully patched now
Patch TomTom Home - this didnt work....

Is that all I need to do to patch the navcore?

Ok extract the file from this .rar and drop it into your device's root (Overwrighting when prompted) this is a pre-patchd file i have just made for you, Now your device should work, if not please tell me and we will start again, 1 thing to tell you tho , If you change your navcore make shure you [color="Red"]DO NOT[/color] change your bootloader file (system) because you have a 1x bootloader you can not change.

Unfortunately the map still doesn't load, the same error message "You cannot use this map on this device"....does it affect it if i renamed the map folder back to the original folder name?
Any other advice greatly appreciated.....driving to croatia on sunday and hoping to have an uptodate map :)

Ok look in your map folder for a file with the extension .dct , do you have it ?

if you have the .dct and you put my file in the root directory overwrighting the old file, and your map folder is correctly structured with no spaces use _ (Western_Europe_1GB_850.2820) it should work please confirm these 3 things

Fixed it I think....

In trying out different things I clicked the "No" on FastActivate....I assume this changes the .dct
