All Maps 865.XXXX

hi i am new and i downloaded the Australia_865_3256 with Automatic Installer & Patcher and i extracted it on my SD card (not sdhc) and when i turn tomtom on it says " no maps found" please help
i have tomtom one xl

865.3256 maps require navcore 8.2xx or higher.

I have a Renault Mégane Scénic 3 (buy in july 2010) with carminat tomtom (navcore 8.841).
I would like to know what number version of map (Western Europe) works with this navcore on my car ?
Is the 865.3245 version works, for example ??

Probably a very newbie question, but I couldn't find the answer antwhere.

I have TT 7.918.9193 on an Axim X51 with WM 6.5.5.
I tested the Europe_1GB_North_865_3259 and it seems to work.
But to make sure it really works, I need to test drive a USA and Canada map (I'm actually in Canada).
For one set of maps, there are a few different build numbers (ex. 3245, 3246, etc.).
I figured that different features are included in each one of them (ex. ASR, ALG, etc.).
However, for USA and Canada in particular, what distinguishes versions 3259, 3261 and 3262?

3259 is primary
3261 is for a ONE XL S
3262 is for a XL (30 Series) TTS /330 S/325 S

However, for your application, it doesn't matter which one you use.

I downloaded the USA 865_3262 and there is no EXE file inside. The description said it has installer and patcher included. Am I doing something wrong?

There are 2 different programs for this USA 865.3262 and USA 865.3262 with patcher and automatic installer

No need to download another map. Go here: FastActivate ENG 28.03.2011 {1.8.6.6} Read the instructions carefully. Download the premium version & unzip it.
Remove your old map folder. Copy in your USA 865.3265 map folder. Run FastActivate & click the map button. Also click the ttsystem button, if your navcore is not patched. Done! Disconnect & reboot.

TomTom offers collections of maps, like "Europe_West_865_3259" that includes coverage for France, Spain, UK, etc.
For example, if I use "Europe_West_865_3259", will I have the same coverage for France as I can have with the individual map "France_865_3259"?

I'm new to this forum and stumbled upon it while reading some files I downloaded from Demonoid.
After a very short time I noticed a couple of you guys are so dedicated and very helpfull, ie: TENDRIVER & POPEYE as being 2 of many good helpers and would like to compliment you on the help you give to others.

I live in the UK and have a Go 530 with a 4 gig seperate Sd card.
I'm going to Vegas this coming Sunday, May 1st and want to be able to use my own TT with the North American map.
I have tried downloading the 865_3259 map and installing using both AutoActive and FastActive without any joy. Can anyone please point me where I'm going wrong. I have tried numerous times and backed up everything before attempting to crack or install the map.
Due to the size of the North American Map (1.7 gig) I'm unable to install it in the root directory so am trying to get it working from my SD card.
My existing map version is United Kingdom & Rep of Ireland v8.351

Now down to your issue.


What is your current navcore?
1. No problem.
2. You have the wrong map. You want North America 865.3245, if you need USA & Canada. Or United States 2GB 865.3245, if Canada isn't needed. If you are putting the map on your card without a navcore on it, then put a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file on the card, before you run the patcher. Use FastActivate Premium, because you will also need to patch your navcore.
