Sincerely,
Orcus.
You didn't mention your current navcore as requested.
Orcus wrote:Hi Again Tendriver.
I'm sorry but I dont know the navcore....or how to find out. I update from TomTom Home on a regular basis if that helps you to decide what version I have.
klazpt wrote:I'm not tendriver, but you can find your Navcore version right in your TT device on: "change preferences" menu and once there "system information"
Orcus wrote:klazpt,
Thanks for your help but my version of TT doesnt have a "System Info" inside my preferences. There is a "sytem Preferences" in TT Home but after looking very carefully I couldnt see a "Navcore Version"

klazpt wrote:Well, actually i'm not a gps guru but, as far as my knowledge goes, your TT is not so special that it doesn't have same general stuff as all others... And by that i mean system info... You name it as you want but, it it IS there. Just look in the no regular menus. In portuguese it is name as which means "version information" So just look for something like that and post everything you can read there if youi can´t really know what Navcore is in the way we can read and find it from there for you.
So, again, go to the change preferences menu and look in the sub menus there

tendriver wrote:1. The correct name is "Status & Information".
2. On my unit "Status & Information" is located in Main Menu page 3, not in Change Preferences.
3. Orcus has navcore 8.351. Information on 8.xxx navcores is found by clicking in the lower right corner (blue area) of the map/nav screen.

is there any difference between "Western Europe" and "Europe West"? The coverage in the thumbnails seems the same...
