The only difference is the pna & meta files (which you really don't want to get into) so whichever you want.

Actually they are almost clones & almost identical.

Apart from the pna & meta (which just show the different suffix/version number), they are identical in all other repects including roads/POI's etc etc etc et al.
It's just a shame these clones aren't flagged up more prominently somewhere to save people wasting their time downloading both versions of these cloned maps hoping for something different.

PS. known clones to date are:-

1. Clone Maps:
- Europe_880.3812
- Europe_2GB_880.3812

2. Clone Maps:
- Europe_880.3810
- Europe_2GB_880.3810
- WCE_880.3810
- WCE_2GB_880.3810

3. Clone Maps:
- Europe_880.3811
- Europe_2GB_880.3811
- WCE_880.3811
- WCE_2GB_880.3811

4. Clone Maps:
- Central_Europe_880.3810
- Europe_Central_880.3810

5. Clone Maps:
- Central_Europe_880.3868
- Europe_Central_880. 3868

6. Clone Maps: (estimated, since these correspond to the byte)
- New_Zealand_880.3810
- New_Zealand_880.3865

Hi Guys, Please can i havew some help, managed to get over my first problem with the part3 file by downloading with google chrome, by the map is to big to fit on my device.
I have a tomtom one with a 1gb memory card build into it, up until now i have bought the maps and my last map was uk and western europe which when downloaded it only installs zone 1 i think due to the disk space only being 1gb.

So please can someone tell me which map i need to download please?

At the present time, there isn't a 880 Western Europe or Europe West map that will fit in your 1GB. Navitotal is still receiving & uploading 880 maps which have only been out for 1 week. You can wait or select a country map rather than an area map.

Which country do you actually need?

Only if it's only the UK you want then the 'United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland 880.3810' is only 227 MB

The automatic installer dind't work, What do I do now?

Postby kennyshazam » Thu Nov 24, 2011 12:42 pm

I have a Tomtom XL 310 and I just installed the North_America_2GB_3810 from the All New Maps 880.XXXX thread and have not been able to get it to work at all. I even used the automatic installer. I dont know what else to do. All I get is this message:

Problem with map
You cannot use this map on this device: North_America_2GB-452

Can somebody help me figure this out? My map is over 3 years old and I dont have much money to update it. I will greatly appreciate any help I can get.

Check your navcore to make sure it is compatible with your map

Where can I check? I have the latest official Navcore, I think. I updated a few months ago when I got this. Is there a way to update the navcore manually? If so How?

This is very simple. Your map is not patched. Update the patcher meta.txt file. Put the patcher & a copy of your unit's ttgo.bif file in the map folder & rerun the map patcher. Look for a .meta.dct file in the map folder to confirm that it is patched
