Very Cool! Does this mean I can "update" an XL 350TM (EasyMenu) to having the "Full - Normal" menu, as the XL 340 does?
I found out another little piece of information, which may make my purchase decision a little easier ... I read that the TomTom device has a 266 Mhz processor while the Garmin's have a 333 Mhz processor. Since I will be using the traffic feature, I would assume that the Garmin would "react" quicker to traffic obstructions? Is this true, does anyone have any feedback on the device differences in this regard?

Any opinions on purchasing either a TomTom or a Garmin, keeping the RDS-TMC traffic feature in mind?

Since this is the TomTom section, it should be obvious what the opinion here is.

Ok, I hear ya ... I've been reading that the TomTom is very slow in regards to the traffice response due to the slower processor? I will most like buy both and test them out and return the one that is the least responsive. Has anyone done a similar test?

No, most of our members know what brand they want. For them it is a matter of which model they want.

Which model is the best for traffic rerouting? Not the "Live" version, I mean the RDS-TMC version?
