All New Maps 860

First I deleted "Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB" forlder from my device and then copied "Scandinavia_860_3101" instead. Then copied "FastActivate ENG 26.12.2010 1.8.02-Light" and patched the map. In light version there are two options as you know for sure. First one is to Update meta.txt and the socend one is Active/Voice/Map/Speedcams as you know this one for sure too! So it was just one option for me and I have used it to active the map. Then disconnected from PC and tried it and got the problem as I have written above. I tried once more, but it was a message that ".dce" (if I remember it's name correctly) already exists. So I tried with "FastActivate ENG 26.12.2010 1.8.02-Premium" that's included two more options. With using "ttsystem/PNDnavigator" that was the third option every thing was just perfect. I suppose I needed to patch something else that was not done with the light version.
Hope this experience would be helpful for other new users like me.

You are Welcome. Thank you very much. The ONLY difference between the FastActivate Light & Premium versions is Light can't patch a navcore. Since Autoinstall 9.025 is pre-patched, you had no need for Premium, so I didn't mention it.

I suspect there wasn't a ttgo.bif file present when you attempted to patch the map the first. One was created when you attempted to boot, so your second attempt was a success. Light & Premium should not have been a factor.

You are right. Of course I didn't know if AoutoInstaller 9.025 is pre-patched. But it is for sure as you say. The only I should say is, I didn't use AutoInstaller! Just deleted the old maps and copied the new one. Then copied FastActivate to the root and tried it. Refer to your words it seems if I have used AutoInstaller every thing has been done with the first attempt.

In your post 206, You asked if you could use AutoInstaller 9.205 & I answered "Yes" in 207. You are up & running & that's what counts.

You are right. I have asked if I can use AutoInstaller and you have said yes, I can. But when I saw there are just coping and patching, then decided to do it by myself. Probable next time will update via AutoInstaller.

You are right. When I read what you have explained found out that's quite different with what I have supposed. I am a really beginner in GPS as you see.
By the way, where I can find maps and other applications for "Navman" GPS? My friend has a "Navman S series" and quite out of date. I couldn't find something spacial in this site. (Noy just in this topic) I also checked out some other website, but nothing really helpful. So is there any special web that can be something for me?
