Which maps i have to use to my Tomtom Start ? 3101 ? 3102 ? or what ?

i tried 3100 and 3101, but got error can't use this map. And it was succesfully patched with AutoActivate_v1.5_09.01.2011.


edit: sry, my fail. Didn't patch ttsystem ;)

I have just added Europe_West_860_3101 to my 630 with navcore 8.351 & patched it with FastActivate_28.03.2011_Premium_edition_v1.8.6.6, all ok so far,

You are Welcome. 1 small problem. 865 is the current edititon, not 860. Also you want Western Europe, not Europe West, which is a zone map..

There wasn't enough room on my device for western europe, so I looked at previous versions & came up with Europe West, only i forgot to check the newer versions . Should I install Europe_West_865_3245 as i want Iq routes & cspeech .

No, wait for the 870 map edition, that will be out around mid-May. You are aware that your unit has an SD card slot, so for a few Quid, you can have all the room you need.

Thing is I have just bought this go 630 second hand, & it had a 810.xxx map, as i am going to Portugal next week, I was anxiuos to update it .
Yes I will add a sdhc card soon, do I just copy the map to the sd card & activate ?

2. Yes, copy the map folder & a copy of the 630's ttgo.bif file to the card, then run your patcher tool.

1. No, since you don't mention what area coverage you need.
2. The 860 edition maps are 3 editions out of date.

If this map was not supported by your version, I would not have suggested it to you.
