Hello !

Very sorry but i've spent my whole afternoon trying to activate my map and keep getting "map not found" message and i don't understand what's wrong...i've used the auto/fast activate programs and the autoinstaller and no way...i'm sure it's related to the meta.txt file but i don't understand where to put it...

You must also patch your navcore with FastActivate Premium 1.8.8.5.

Thanks for your fast response, I installed from scratch my TT and when i put fast activate Premium in root it opens and closes...no message
I just even tried easyactivator 6 everything goes OK but still the message when I start up "card not found"

Download TomTom Current Configuration {29.09.2011} Run it & post the results here.

It appears that your map is not patched. Look in the map folder for a .meta.dct file. No file = no patch.

I understand but when i launch FastActivate Premium 1.8.8.5 on root, it lanches and closes right after...and no dct generated in maps folder

Put FA & a copy of the ttgo.bif file in the 4058 map folder & run FA from there.

I finally found out the problem !!!!

Windows 7 x64 -> a pain in the ass as the program doesn't work
Windows 7 x32 -> Works great, everything works as it should :-)

I was having the same problem and the reason was my anti virus program (AVAST) was stopping the activation program from running properly. It saw it as suspicious
So maybe disable your anti virus while patching/activating etc.

I am running W7 64 bit and fast activate works just fine here.

I have Avast on both systems and it was deactivated on both systems when I was trying to patch...this makes things even more complicated ^^

The only option at this stage is to keep trying.
There is not much else...
The best chances are to download when it is "off peak" in the US and Europe, so mostly at their night times as less users are downloading.

I find with file factory that constantly refreshing the page (30+ times in some cases) gets a download slot, I've never spent more than a few minutes refreshing before getting a slot...
