You will be looking for a long time. There isn't a W & CE 890.4223. There is a 4222, 4224, 4234 & 4236.

Take your time & keep trying. There is no big hurry. The meta for this map has not been posted, so it can't be patched & is unusable for now.
BTW, you might want to read the download instructions in post 1 of this thread.

Hi Tendriver..
I´m having trouble with the latest maps for my TomTom Go 500. Up until now i have always been downloading all the new maps for my TomTom Go 500 here and have been using them with Navcore 8.41 with no problem..
Now i already have downloaded 3 different maps the map Western and Central Europe 890.4224 and the map Western and Central Europe 890.4222 and the map Europe_2GB_890_4223 and none of them wil work with my TomTomGo 500 i get always the same message (this map cant work on this device ) i have bin doing all the things i always do when i want a new map and i use the latest Fast Activate 1.8.8.6....
Please help i dont know what to do anymore..

PS installed my old map Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_885_4009 and used the new Fats activate and it works like a charm..donmt understand why the new maps wont work..

Thanks for all your good work.

Sorry Tendriver..
I just have bin reading al the post an checking evcerything again ,and this is my mistake ..i know now that Western and Central Europe 890.4222 wil not work with my Navcore 8.41 on my Tom Tom Go500.
The map Western and Central Europe 890.4224 and the map Europe_2GB_890_4223 dont have a META jet , probably thats why they dont work..
When the meta ia available do i have to download the map again or just use the Fast activator????

Thank you for all the good work you do ...

Again i´m so sorry ..

No you do not have to download any of the maps again, just run the FastActivate link and it will "if available" download the meta file automatically.

Although personally I prefer to use "AutoActivate_v1.8.8.1" sooner than "FastActivate_v1.8.8.1" as there are less buttons to press (I'm lazy) and it does virtually the same job once the TT or/and Home has been patched which only needs to be done the one time.

1. V1.8.8.6 is the current version.
2. AutoActivate will not patch the navcore, FastActivate Premium will.

The Navcore map correlation matrix shows map codes 891.4528 and 891.4331, though I don't see any maps with these codes in either this or the next post. Can you explain please?

On closer inspection I do see NZ and Turkey maps with these codes.
Mea culpa.
I also see a NZ 891.4330 which is not in the tabulation.
What's with the 891 rather than 890 prefix?
