I downloaded and unzipped Europe_1GB_West_890_4234 without any problems. Guess you are using the installer version? If you are still having problems, then I could look at trying to install this tomorrow (using this or the installer version).

1. No, they offer you the OPTION of paying for the download.
2. Keep trying.

Or just start using jdownloader @ [Please Register or Login to download file]

With a password failing in particular files you probably have a shifted bit somewhere in the archive. You'd have to figure out which part it is and redownload.
If this is the case, WinRar will throw you an error about it being either a CRC error or a wrong password. Mostly it is the CRC; WinRAR will behave quite different from that if the password is incorrect.

I have a Tomtom GO630 with 9430 software, but I have a problem "Central and Eastern Europe 890.4237 with Automatic Installer & Patcher " map. When I updated my map and when I turn my device on, I get the message that "You cannot use this map on this device: Central_and_Eastern_Europe-574".
Please help me.

I have downloaded 890.4222 Canada_Alaska, also downloaded 890.4238 Western_Europe. Both have a meta file, but cannot read either with Notepad, Wordpad or MS Word.

Using FastActivate V1.8.8.6 with Navcore 9.061. I can activate Western_Europe, but not Canada_Alaska then saying it cannot be used on this device.

Any clues

1. Why would you want to read the .meta file?
2. None of the 3 Canada-Alaska 890 maps have a meta code posted with them. They are not usable at this time!!

The Map I have has a Meta file "Canada-Alaska-562" of 566kb

EVERY map has a meta file. It is the file that gets patched & creates the .meta.dct file when you run the keygen. In order to patch a map it must have a meta CODE posted with it.
