Impossible to download part 7 of map "Europe 890.4222 with Automatic Installer & Patcher"... I tried so many times and it's always busy at any time... Is something wrong with this particular part ? (I've got all the other parts)

Up ! No one had this problem ?

There's nothing wrong with the part. Just heavy download usage.

Hello

I own a TomTom XXL 540S and would like to upload the Iberia maps to my GPS. I have read through this entire thread and have downloaded Iberia 890.4237 with Automatic Installer & Patcher;Iberia 890.4237 75 CA 9B E2 A0 33 8F D1 D9 9D 7D D5 08 5D A1 05 Iberia-574.meta found on the first post of this thread. As a result, I was able to download the first part at FileFactory Premium for free. Now I am trying to download the second part from FileFactory Premium but every time I try to download the file, FileFactory states, "All free download slots are in use. You can download this file immediately by upgrading to FileFactory Premium. Otherwise, please feel free to try again shortly." Is this normal? Also, is it safe to register and pay for an account on FileFactory to download these maps. And my final question is does this work with my GPS (TomTom XXL 540S)

Thank you

Installation Question: Write error in the file Iberia_885_4058\cline.dat. Probably the disk is full

As I am trying to install the Iberia maps on my XXL 540S. When running the install an error message popped up stating that the GPS is full. Now my question for you is what can I delete from the GPS to make space? Do I delete everything on the GPS and copy my tgo.bif file to a folder on my desktop?

Thank you and I appreciate any help you can give.

1. You are using an old map.
2. You don't need a Automatic installer & patcher version.
3. Can't tell you what to delete, if I don't know what is on the unit.

1. When is an "Automatic installer & patcher version" used?
2. The US & Mexico maps are preinstalled on the GPS. If I copy that file onto my desktop and run in the install will it work?

Thank you

1. Primarily it is for noobs. I prefer to download, unzip & copy the map folder to a device & patch it with FastActivate.
2. I'm sure you mean cut & paste the old map. That should solve the space issue.

Well, my mistake, then. I thought that each new map version is released for every country, not for some country only. I mean: I thought that if there was a 4237 version for, say, Australia's map, than there should be a 4237 version for all other countries, too. Boy, is my face red! :wallbash:

9 out of 10 times you would be right. In this case Australia is the only map with a 4278 version.

Hi

I am having an issue installing maps on my TomTom XXL 540S. From my previous posts I was able to successfully install the map onto my TomTom. However, now I am trying to install another map, United States and Canada, on to the GPS and I was wondering first what version should I use since I have a TomTom XXL 540 S(Yes, I do know that my GPS came preloaded from the factory with the United States map but since I wanted to add the Iberia map theren't isn't enough room for both). Is it possible to load the Iberia map and United States (900 mb version which is smaller than the factory preloaded map 1.68 GB) map into my GPS? As of right now I have the Iberia map installed and when I try switch maps in the GPS to the United States map it says that "Problem with map. You cannot use this map on this device: USA_and_Canada-571"

Any help is much appreciated!

Thank you!

As far as I know, since quite recent it is now longer possible for the FastActivate tools to get the latest meta.txt online.

Error reported: ERROR: Could not get file time on server. Check your Internet connection
Integrated meta.txt enabled

That's why the latest FastActivate 1.8.8.9 only works with the built-in meta file.

Today, I ran into this problem with a card with automatic installer and FastActivate.
It installed beautifully but it was not patched.
Also with another FastActivate tool I tried to patch the map but the meta.txt file could not be updated to the latest version online.
Only the newest FastActivate 1.8.8.9 can do that.

Can you confirm that all maps with built-in FastActivate no longer work ?
(Although it might work in cases where the meta is included in the built-in Meta.txt)

1. The meta.txt update feature is no longer available for ANY version.
2. Wrong!! You didn't read the 1.8.8.9 instructions including Note 1.
3. Same answer as point 2.
