Cannot activate Singapore and Thailand Map

Postby violato » Tue Dec 27, 2011 9:43 am

I have this in my config file:
[ID]
LocalID = ['xl2009_plus_1024_tts', 'xl2009_plus_2048_tts']-9.061.576030.2-1034.small-9.061.xl2009_plus_tts.CAB-navcore-ONE_XL
imageID = None-None.None

[Image information]
Birthday = Thursday 07 October 2010, 13:01:42
Image type = CAB
Item number = 9.061.xl2009_plus_tts
Item description = CAB-navcore-ONE_XL
Changelist = 585012
Application version = 9.061
Application build = 576030.2-1034.small
Linux kernel = 567329
Bootloader version = 5.5277

I tried to put Thailand and Singapore map (880.3841) but when I run the FastActivate.exe after I get the latest meta, it won't let me activate the map. When I go to preferences - switch map - it tells me that "Problem with map, You cannot run use this map on this device: Singapore-461". I have the USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P-143 activated and it only created the .dct file for that particular map only. Is there any steps that I'm missing to activate the Singapore / Thailand map? Thanks.

If you are using a SD card, put Fastactivate & a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file on the card & run FastActivate.

It's a built-in memory and ttgo.bif is already on the memory. When I ran the command, it seems to only recognize the original map (USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P). I simply copy the whole folder map that I download "Thailand 880.3841" to the device and run FastActivate. If I run it from the root folder, it will display the following:

Voice(s):
Map(s):
USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P-143.meta => .dct OK!
Fuel prices:
FuelStations.ov2 => .dct OK!
Speed cameras:
________________________________________________________________________________

BIF File......N:\TTGO.BIF
KeyGen Type...8
Device Name...TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition
Application...9061
DeviceID......

meta.txt saved to N:\META.TXT

But if I run it under the Thailand subfolder, it simply won't recognize anything.

Voice(s):

________________________________________________________________________________

BIF File......N:\TTGO.BIF
KeyGen Type...8
Device Name...TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition

meta.txt saved to N:\META.TXT

Am I missing something? Please help. Thanks.

Put FastActivate & a copy of the ttgo.bif file in the Thai map folder. Run FA.

I did try the above and it still doesn't recognize the map :(

I download the map from this thread: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?8184-880-maps-with-automatic-installer-and-FastActivate

Open the Thai map folder & look for a .meta.dct file.

That's the problem. It doesn't have the .meta.dct file inside the Thai folder. It does have it inside the USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P folder. I thought the .dct file is generated by FastActivate?

Here's inside the Thailand.pna file if it will help:
ID=Thailand.pna
114052735
880
build=3841
id=771880

Your map is not patched. If you put FastActivate & a copy of your ttgo.bif file inside the Thai map folder, there is no way it can fail to create the .meta.dct file, unless you did not update the meta.txt file using button 1.
