Cant get maps to be read by tomtom

Hi i have a tomtom go classic and have tried several times to install new maps the most recent one ive tried is uk and ireland 885 i then run fast activate premium and all seems well but as soon as i put the device on it boots up and comes up with no maps found.

Can anyone help me and tell me where im going wrong?

Have you followed the instruction in the map thread and for FastActivate?
Use this tool and post the results : :link:
Did you have a file with the ending .meta.dct file in your map folder?
Are the map files in a folder in the root? Make sure they are no inside a subfolder.
