I would love to get some help on how to get a working map for my travels to East Europe.Whole of Europe would do too if includes all the former Yugoslavia and Albania.

Here is my configuration after running the tool

The first thing you need to do is plug your device into your PC and let the TomTom Home software update your navcore for you as it's quite old now

Then run the tool again and post back the results including what model you have and how much storage you've got...SD card slot?

The reason being you're probably going to want Europe_East_970_7468 map as it'll cover the countries you need but it is 1.74GB so available space is going to be the issue.

*) Update the device with TomTom Home to the latest navcore. I expect 7.828 you have is already the latest navcore,
Use the map Europe v970.7490

1) Make a backup of your Device (SD Card) and delete the old map.

Copie the map (Europe v970.7490) to The Device (SD Card) in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the loose files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

2) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device in the root SD Card

Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2 and 3
Wait for the announcement navcore Patched.
