error message: you can not use this maps on this device

hi

i have dw Australia 890.4278_Installer for my xl250 but i get this error message why is that ?

Read the instructions in the map thread and the tutorials.
Your question was answered about 500 times this year.
If you need help we need your help too, this includes posting the full device details.
Either your map is not activated or your Navcore not patched, so use FastActivate Premium and press the first three buttons, starting from the left.

hi first - thanks for replying.
this is the second time i am updating my maps (succeeded the last time) i done exactly what been said and i thought this "Australia 890.4278_Installer" do everything automatically ?
i did tried doing it myself as well with the fastactivator 1.8 but i get the same message: "you can't use this maps with your device" so i thought it's something to do with the maps Version.

i have XL250 TomTom what else do you need ?

Could be that you don't have navcore 9.xxx

ok now it works

the problem was (i think) i have patched using 1.8 v and now when i have used 1.8.8 it worked

so first thanks for all your help.
