I have installed on SD card Navcore 8.395 and Europe Truck 865_3255 but when switching to map get message "current map does not contain truck attributes". Can someone please advise what is the latest combination of navcore and truck map that I can install on 4gb SD that will work

The current Truck navcore is 8.398, although there is nothing wrong with 8.395. Your problem is not with the navcore or map versions. It is a patching problem. The Truck map contains a meta file & a tmeta file, which contains the truck attributes. Both of these files must be patched. The older patchers do not patch the tmeta file.
Go to FastActivate ENG 28.03.2011 {1.8.6.6} read the instructions. This patcher will fix your problem.
