i may be a bit of a noob but am still having trouble
trying to update maps on my tomtom go 500

followed indtructions, think i did everything correct, map folder was created on memory card with maps in it etc
but when tom tom boots up it shows
tom tom logo
then screen showing pic of satnav with the loading bar
when loading bar complete it swiches to tomotom logo again then screen goes blank!!

the only error i had putting it in was when i run one bit of fastactivate to go to tomotom home it says couldnt find tomtomhome.dll or similar.

any ideas????

1. idea: if you have a request, post in the right section, prefereable in one of the many already existing threads
2. idea: providing complete sets of informations is the only way you can get help - there are no helpful infos in your request
3. idea: read and follow the instructions provided - in 99% of cases doing so will result in a working device and no questions are necessary
4. idea: double postings are not necessary and not welcome - especially if the show the same lack of information

Get used to the forum structure and before making any new postings do your homework.
