You need you Navcore version number to check the mao charts for a suitable map.
Use the tool in my signature if unsure.

We don't normally use the product "code" to identify a particular unit, but I believe that a "4ET03" model corresponds to a serial number starting with "GH", which is a UK model XL IQRoutes2 & a USA model XL 335. Current navcore for these units is 9.430. Current map for this navcore is Brazil 895.4438, which can be found here: All New Maps 895.XXXX

As I said, you can simply use get my config from my signature, but Tendriver already pointed you in the direction of the map you need.
Follow the instructions in the map thread and use FastActivate for the rest - you might need to use it for your map and your Navcore.

the instructions for the map are at the beginning of the map thread and the instructions for FastActivate can be found after following the link in the map thread.

GJ = XL IQ Routes ² / XL 250 / XL 335/ XL 350 - 2GB TTS

GH = XL IQ Routes ² / XL 250 - 1GB TTS

The info below from post 3 is correct & valid.

A friend of mine has got a TT XL IQ Routes ² / XL 250 / XL 335/ XL 350 - 2GB TTS.

It has got about 1.87 GB internal memory.
At this point it had a Western_and_Central_Europe map. I think it was from Feb-2010.

I wanted to replace this one with 905-4754 but unfortunately this one is about 2.17 GB and therefore too large for the device.

TomTomHome suggested to buy 905.4797 but that one has got far little coverage being Western_Europe.
A far larger European coverage is required.

Europe_East and Europe_West do cover the whole of Europe although only one card could be installed at one point in time. Both maps are 905.4754.
5317
Am I wrong in presuming that these maps would do nicely and are a suitable fit on this TT XL ? Without losing functionality.
The TT XL has got NO 'CSpeech+ASR'.
I would appreciate your advice. Thanks ! :clap:

The Europe maps kept getting larger & larger with each new Edition & as you found out, are now over 2GB. TT's solution to this problem for 2GB/no slot units are Zone Maps. Europe East 905.4754 & Europe West 905.4754 are part of the Zone Map System. 905.4754 Zone Maps have all of the features & functionality of the full Europe 4754. ALL of these maps require Navcore 9.0XX or higher

So - please forgive my need for a more specific confirmation - usage of 4754 maps are suited for the TT XL, just like the 4797 and 4799 maps in terms of functionality?

I will never recommend anything less than what you ask for without telling you why.

The only usable Europe maps with IQ Routes & ALG are the full featured 905.4754 versions. These maps include Central, Eastern & Southern Europe. It also includes these Zone Maps: Europe Central, East, West, North & South.
Western Europe is the only one with usable 4797 & 4799 versions, which are inferior to the 4754 version.
