What method did you use to patch the 9.401 navcore?

I have rolled back to my previous navcore 9.205, which was previously saved as a patched navcore, backups are great to have. Europe_885_4008 map avaliable straight away, switched to previous map Europe_870_3460 and that is also avaliable.
Navcore 9.401 is a forced download via tomtom home, I have deleted and allowed tomtom home to D/L 9.401 three times with the same results each time, unable to access maps. FastActivate_04.02.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.1 says navcore is patched. Wonder if FastActivate_04.02.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.1 is having a problem patching Navcore 9.401?

All I can say that I had no problem patching it for my 730, same for the 9.400 and the other V9 NC's.
I think if you install the 9.401 on an empty device/SD, patch it, add the maps from backup the result will be different ;)

Downunder35m, that did the trick.
I removed my SD card with the maps on, delete everything on the tomtom internal memory, connected to tomtom home and allowed it to update the navecore to 9.401. Patched navcore with FastActivate_04.02.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.1. Put SD card back in and maps are now available. Now doing a backup of tomtom internal memory then going to install Navcore 9.401 Fan Edition, works on 32mb models too :D
Thanks everyone for their help, great forum keep up the good work

These are not the links to any files but to our threads, if all files in there are unusable than it is on your end as they work fine for me.
Judging by the fact that you complain here about links from other forums too I would say jou should check your system and connection.

G'day, I,m in the same boat with Australia 885_4095. I've put the meta file in "mymeta.txt" in the root dir (using the 885_4021 supplied text) but fastactivator premium is not putting the dct file in the map folder.
Also on each start up I get the walk through of select language and units etc.

Why are you using the 4095 (which has no meta yet) and not the 4021 (which has a meta and is fully featured)?
Apart from that your problem was discussed many times already, even with an extra big and red note in the map thread.
And where did you get that "mymeta.txt" info ???
