Help please. I start work for an agency next week and desperately need to put Truck map and software onto my Go720. What navcore/map combo and other files do I need please and how do I install.

Currently is :-
app 9.401.862279.1 os 802398
GPS v1.20 boot 5.5120
map western_Europe v705.1480

Map: Latest Europe TRUCK Map Current is Europe Truck 885.4056

Navcore: V8 & V9 Navcores Current is Navcore 8.398.1917 WORK inc. Truck

navcore 8398 whit europe 885.4056 map {the new truck map}
you need a sdhc card 4gb but thats with your system not a problem.

Thanks guys. Can I just confirm - I extract the navcore to the device (overwriting common files) and copy the map to the SD card. is that it?

Edit: done that and ran fastactivate which all went ok but.. when I try to switch to the truck map it says that map is unsupported on my device? How do I get the map working?

Edit 2: Think I sussed it, needed to copy bif file to truck map folder on SD card and run fastactivate from there too.

PS: can I use the same files for my mates Go630?

You can try on a 630 but they are known to be very fuzzy.
Give it a go and report back.

Put the navcore, map, FastActivate Premium 1.8.8.5 & a copy of the 630 ttgo.bif on a sd card. The unit will boot & run from the card, so if there is a problem, remove the card and the unit is back to the undisturbed internal setup.
