i have a tomtom one 3rd edition 1 gb internal
i've had this a long time with the same map ,now i would like to update this for the uk
maps any step by step guide for this tomtom please i also have about 10 voices on this that i would like to keep thanks for your time

1. What navcore is on the unit?
2. Are the voices free downloads or bought downloads?

the voices are downloaded eg clint eastwood and others ,if i cant keep them,thats alright all i need is it updated for new maps for the uk thanks

The current navcore for your unit is 8.014, which TT Home should update for you. Then a new map can be added.

ive now got the navcore 8.014 ,which new uk map is needed for this tomtom, thanks very much for your replies as this must be so straight forward to you

865.3259 or 865.3262. It makes no difference which one you use. Use the attached tool to patch both navcore & map. Instructions included.

I am total newbie!

Today i downloaded few maps...but non of them didn't work...my device model is TomTom One (Canada 310) and it was updated at least i think so.

I am a newb at this as well. I have pretty much the same version as notic, a TomTom One v8.. which i think is actually v4 according to some other sites. But my problem is, i update to the navcore 8.410 and cant figure out which 9.xxx navcore to download for my tomtom. also, when i install any 865.xxxx maps, i get an error that i cant use the map on my tomtom. I haven't seen many posts about this tomtom and was wondering if anyone knew how to get this working.

You guys can either keep the original Navcores and patch them with FastActivate or try a new Navcore.
Check the chart in the map thread for a map that suits your Navcore. :link:

We have Navcores with automatic installation as well, they are meant for the more unexperienced user to make it simple. :link:
