Problems with Greece maps

Hi, relative newby here..... I've totally wiped my TomTom XL 330....

and then installed the following:

8.412.xl2009_live_2048_tts.CAB-navcore-XL_LIVE.cab
SE_Navcore.8.412.1236.Basicpack.rar
SE_ttsystem.8.412.1236.rev1.1.rar
Greece 870.3405_Installer.exe

I've then run FastActivate.exe

However my unit says No maps available.....

What do I need to do to get the map working?

Also was trying to find a 1Gb europe map....I tried the Western_Europe_1GB_870_3417 however this is actually larger than 1Gb......are there any files I can delete from the map directory to make it fit? Maybe faces.dat or poi.dat...

Maybe its a problem with the map/installer, I tried Greece 870.3391.rar and that's working...

1. For your device, you don't need to load the .cab files, just the SE_Navcore.8.412.1236.Basicpack.rar & SE_ttsystem.8.412.1236.rev1.1.rar

3. A 870.3405 map will not run on a 8.412 navcore. A 9.0XX navcore is required. Read the chart in post 1 of the All New Maps 870.XXXX thread.

One more question can I load a 9.0XX navcore onto my TomTom XL 330, I checked the matrix on http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?907-Latest-Navcores but I'm not sure whether it has been updated....it seemed to suggest that 8.412 is the latest version, however there are no 9.0xxx navcores detailed in that matrix?

9.053 should run nicely on your unit.
You are correct, the matrix is not up to date. It is only telling you that 8.412 is OK to use, but it is not the current version.
