Sorry, noob is totally lost..

Hi there,

i'm a total noob and i almost f*cked up my girlfriends Tomtom One IQ Routes trying to install a map  :bomb_mini:

We're planning on going to Mexico and therefore i downloaded Mexico_865_3246, copied it to the root of the TT, copied and executed FastActive (light) to the root of the TT...FA did the patching...rebooted the TT and after that i couldn't even use the original Western Europe 8.40 map anymore: the message was "you cannot use this map on this device". Same for the mexico-map.

Fortunately i made a backup so the TT with the original map is working again, but how can i install the mexico-map?

With TomTom home i´ve updated the device to the latest versions before installing the mexico-map. I think its version 9.053.

Do i need to patch the navcore to? If so, what files do i need?
I'm lost seeing all these different versions around here.
Thanks in advance

1. You need the Premium version.
2. FastActive patched both maps, but not the navcore, which must also be patched.

As PiEtU sez, Use the Premium version to patch the navcore.
