TomTom One 3rd Edition Will Not Patch!

Downloaded latest UK & ireland maps from this forum.
Created correct meta.txt file for these maps
used Autoactivate and fastactivate and Alberts easy activator 5..all come up with SUCCESS! maps activated etc etc...
But guess what....NO MAPS FOUND :+(

But guess what....NO MAPS FOUND usually means that the navcore has not been patched. Your new UK&ROI map will have a .meta.dct file, if it is properly patched.

I do have the meta.dct file which is created by fastactivate and the prog does say navcore patched but still no joy..Have done this many times but having no luck with this perticular model??? any help would be great

What navcore version are you working with?
Open your new UK&ROI map folder to confirm that you don't have a map folder within a map folder.

:aggressive:I dont have a folder within folder problem the folder is on the root of my device..how do I know what navcore version I have..i copied the map to the root of my tomtom and left the original files as they where I then copied fastactivate to the root and activated from there...I get navcore already patched and every other message saying success but when I reboot the unit it still 'No Maps found' im now at my wits end with this baby and as I said i have done this many times with no problems??? God Knows

Open your device's ttgo.bif file with notepad. Line 9 is your navcore version.

It helps a lot.
Your navcore is not compatible with the new maps. You need 7.9XX or higher.

....so let TTHome incrementally update to latest navcore (till it say's no more) THEN run again to repatch your new navcore (and after running Op my GO in TTHome once to download the currently unpatched .dll) patch that too.

This is a pain in the rear. The TT Team prefers copying in the desired new navcore in 1 step.

Many thanks finaly patched the bugger it was the navcore update that did the trick through TomTom home but it was still a bitch to do..I had to use Alberts to finish the job! NIGHTMARE!!! thanks for your help MUCH appreciated!
