TomTom One V3 (500mb) - Reduce USA map size (Florida only)

Postby Bartym » Mon Jan 16, 2012 1:34 pm

Firstly - Many thanks to the forum. I've managed to Update/Load/Backup maps for UK & Canada.

My next trip includes Ontario Canada and Orlando Florida.

Is there anyway I can get Florida only maps for my TomTom One ? USA maps currently around 1.5 GB.

I would prefer to have both Canada and USA maps preloaded prior to my departure.

Any help would be gratefully received

If you only have 500mb internal memory and no SD slot than you will have a problem as there are no single state maps available.
If you do have a SD slot copy all from internal memory to the SD and add the map(s) of your choice.
Use FastActivate premium to activate the map(s) and if necessary to patch your Navcore.

Only internal memory - no SD card. Is there any method by which I can reduce the size, e.g. remove / edit unwanted
map areas ?

The basic no features USA & C maps are 8XX MB. There is no way to cut them down to fit your unit.

Look for the cheapest model you can find that has:
1. at least a 4.3" screen
2. at least 64 MB RAM memory
3. at least a 2GB internal memory
4. a SD card slot
