If you don't know the difference why would you want to install a different map?
As long as it is a 87ß map I would not bother.

Only TT could tell us the real differences between maps of same coverage - if there are any.
As long as you have enough space you don't have to go for a 2GB map, and these 2GB maps are only labeled as 2GB - some are far bigger, some far smaller.

Forget 870.3420 maps. You want North America 2GB 870.3406.

All maps with the _P designation are capable of handling alphanumeric address searches. In many states, especially Hawaii and Minnesota, many addresses have hyphens in the street number. TomTom units without the capability of including the hyphen in those states were rendered next to useless.
