1. In answer to a previous comment, there is no download posted by Navitotal that requires you to join anything or pay for anything.
2. You are doing better. You posted 2 out of 3 requested pieces of info.

Download UK&ROI V875.3675 + the latest postcodes from this thread
Download the latest speedcams as well

Extract archives
Copy to SD Card
Make sure the individual map files (Cline.dat etc) are one folder away from the root of the card
Copy the two UK postcode files to a folder called Zip in the root of the SD card
Copy the two UK premium speedcam files into the map folder
Download AutoActivate, Extract and copy to root of the SD card
Put card in device and start Tomtom like you did in the earlier post
Turn off device and put card back into card reader, Then run Autoactivate.exe (DO NOT USE A USB CABLE, USE A CARD READER)
When that's finished put the card back into the device and run Tomtom again
Change language to English (option is on page six of settings, three flags icon)
GPS settings are...
Other NMEA receiver
Baud 57600
COM 7

That's it.

where is the zip the folder on the sd card? where do you download the 2 premuim speedcam files from aswell

Thu Nov 10, 2011 4:59 pm

For speedcams you can use either the PGPSW ones you have OR the Tomtom cams, Tomtom cams are either normal (Only fixed) and premium (Fixed and mobile), Premium cams will need activating.

PGPSW cams slow your device down a bit, Tomtom cams do not

To get the voice warnings working on the PGPSW cams you will need to turn the "Warn when near POI" option on in manage poi's, one at a time unfortunately, The Tomtom cam settings are in Tomtom services

You will need to create the Zip folder for the postcodes

FastActivate and AutoActivate do the same job.

AutoActivate is for map/cam/fuel and voice patching only. FastActivate will also patch navcores & TT Home.
