I keep my old tomtom one legit and update all the year round ...Well as you well know the new maps have just been released and the old girl is going strong .
Thing is wanna use this map on my spare unit but no matter how i try i cannot find the meta txt out there...
Any help would be greatfully recieved.

How can i generate one using my legit dct?? ..If anyone knows then would be willing to post on here no probs...

How get the blowfish code (meta.txt) for a TomTom map?
(Open "ttgo.bif" that is in the root of your device with notepad and get your serial and device-id)

1) Download and UnPack EasyUseTools to C:\

2) Copy those 3 files (*.META, *.DCT en *.PNA) from your
country map to the folder .\insert_meta_from_Map_here

3) Run RunMeforMetaKey.cmd - Choose option 1, then option 2

4) The keygen will ask for your DeviceSerialNumber,
not the 10 character device ID! ( K16167I00801 )

5) The keygen will ask for your DeviceUniqueID,
the 10 character device ID! ( AA8AQQQYXX )

It will give you the Meta on screen and in "Meta.txt"

Thanks for all you help guys...managed to complete the task lol...Managed to get my spare running as well so i know the meta is ok....Not sure how to go about upping the meta and map so heres the meta ...Apologies if i am in the wrong posting it here...
Instructions on how to up the map would be great cos i'm a total noobie as regards that.

Hi Kintekke, I have used [Please Register or Login to download file] before it's free to join up. Then to upload you need to....

1, Zip the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_875_3675 folder
2, Click upload on the hotfile screen then "browse" for the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_875_3675 stored on your computer.
3, The file is then uploaded on to the hotfile server (may take 30mins to an hour depending on your connection)
4, When uploading has finished hotfile will give you a link to copy and paste to the forum here!

Hmm - can anyone give me a clue as to why filesonic won't let me download this? Just keeps telling me I can only download one file at a time. Or is everyone here a paid-up member

I had no problem with this 1 part download on filesonic. If you continue to have a problem, may I suggest you download from the OFFICIAL Navitotal thread: All New Maps 875.XXXX

It's a Tomtom One New Edition - not that new now (about 3 years old).

Still can't get the links to work - there is no box to enter a password, and clicking anythin clickable on the page just tries to install download manager software or takes me to another site requesting registration. Most odd (and quite irritating!)

Right - managed to download the file - installed Firefox and registered with Rapidshare (or whatever).

I have the SD card in my reader, and can run the software - input password and it extracts a load of files - but if I then run Tomtom Home, it still shows as being loaded with the old map. Is this correct? Or should it show ...3675?

Slowly making progress......
When I run the software it comes up with a write error - suggests disk is full. Am I supposed to delete the original data first?

Remove your old map folder, then install the new.
