Where is the new Meta.txt

Sun Sep 25, 2011 10:48 am

Sorry for asking this quesiton, but I can't find the current updated Meta.txt.

I have searched the site for over 1h, but i can't find it. (too many hits with the search function) and I could not find a sticky with the info.

Any idea's where I can find it, so I can use easy use tools to unlock my map and speedcamera's?
Thanks!

It is included in both versions of FastActivate ENG 28.08.2011 {1.8.7.2} . Both versions also have a meta.txt update buttton. EasyUseTools is an outdated dinosaur.

Although, to be fair to TTuser, it is and always will be the basis of all later crackers/patchers/activaters.

Maybe outdated (old style) but only because it doesn't have a pretty GUI and without it, we'd not be able to crack/patch

That doesn't make it any less of a NOT USER FRIENDLY, OUTDATED DINOSAUR!!

I agree it doesn't have pretty pictues or buttons but "RunMeforAllAutomatic.cmd" still works a treat so I wouldn't call it "NOT USER FRIENDLY"

I think TTuser should still be given all the credit and respect for his initial creation and not "slagged off"

PS there are very few auto-fetch meta.txt tools and (apart from the dos operation) most still need to have latest meta.txt added.

You are entitled to your opinion. The TT Team's job is to make it as easy as possible for members to update their devices. Regardless of "who did what", EasyUseTools does not qualify, compared to the "new breed" of tools.

END OF DISCUSSION!!

Thanks for your imput. I suppose I cannot get a seperate meta.txt file anymore.
I must admit that EasyUseTools has always served me well. So I can't say anything bad in that respect.
But I will try one of the "new breed", to see if this will make life so much easier.

If you're also more than happy with Easytools then just replace the meta.txt in Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher//prog folder with extracted attached (credit to the maverick)

Not unless you ask.
Reasons:
1. With the huge number of maps, that TT has released in the last couple of editions, it is a daily task, for the first month or so after they are released, to keep a meta.txt updated.
2. Most of the "new breed" tools have their own meta.txt files with an update feature.
2. Navitotal posts the metas with the map links, so a member can easily copy a needed meta into their existing meta.txt, if they so desire.
