Sorry if my english is not well, but I'm french and I prefer trying to speak than using translate.google.

I would like to know if if the cards corresponding to my navcore will function on my carminat tomtom (on a Renault Megane 2012).

I have installed some cards and activate it with fast active. Tom-tom Home says ok but my GPS says my card can not be read.

Africa 990 8301 doesn't want to install. Error during install
Plus : First part install africa 985 8157 and second part 990 9301.

I think I have about everything I need to get started on my upgrade except for the file: FastActivate.exe
Been searching through the forums & can't seem to find it.

Have a new 995 map with meta code (thanks to this great board/members!) & hoping to be directed to that FastActivate file download for the 995 map:

I am lost.

I have downloaded Africa 990. 8301
I have installed it on my carminat tomtom navcore 9.884
When I try to patch navcore with fastactivate, it terminate without any message. I have tried with suppression of the loopier folder but same result.
I have activated the africa card. Ok with fast activate but no way on my tomtom.

I'm lost.

You can only activate free maps with navcore 8.842. With higher you can only buy a new map. Don,t try 8.842 becourse that is not working.

I said before that is not working. You have a live Carminat system and it is not possible to downgrade this to 8.842. An Live system can,t be use free maps. So if you like it or not you can only buy new maps or drive around with the old map.
