Activating map on SD Card

Postby quarkrad » Sun Jun 23, 2013 3:32 pm

I have successfully activated navcore 9.510 and uk & Ireland 910.4892 map on my go520 - thank you for this site. However, I have Western Europe 910.4956 on my SD card but cannot activiate either using FastActivate or EasyActivator6.08. Both tools either only see the internal map (UK) and not the SD map or do not have a function to switch to the SD card. Should they 'see' the map on the SD card as well as the map on the internal hd?

Copy ttgo.bif + ttsystem from your TT to your SD-card and patch it then with FastActivate.

Thanks - copied those files across, no joy. Tried Fastactivate (1.7) in both internal root drive and SD map.

Are you using latest FastActivate ?
What did FastActivate tell you? Yes, it should 'see' the TT and/or the SD-card ?
Did you put both files in the root of the SD-card?

Easyusetool is an outdated dinosaur.

Put FastActivate 09.06.2013 & a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file on the card with the Western Europe 910.4956 map. No meta.txt update is needed. Run FA option 2 to patch the map. A .meta.dct file in the map folder will confirm that the map was properly patched.

Thanks - been trying to download FastActivate 09.06.2013 for four days now - seems to be constantly busy. Will keep trying and let you know how I get on.

I downloaded FA 09.06.2013 five minutes ago whithin less than 45 seconds without any problem. Everything is working fine. Grab the file at Zippyshare and keep your eyes open.

Still busy - I go to Tomtom tools and follow the links. I'm trying to download Part_2.rar on the Upload.net host. Where is the link to get it from Zippyshare?
