Advanced Lane Guidance

Ok I put in this emulation 35;34;slf-Self;17-Rider;34-ONE;35-XL;36-XL LIVE;37-GO x50;39-Start;18-GO x20;25-GO x30;24-GO x40 which seems to work fine and mow allows me to change between the skins I want. I have turned on IQ routes, display lane images and planned a route. Will test it out on the way to work a little later.

Thanks for all your help!!! :023:

WTG!! If you haven't already tried it, put 37 first. You might be pleasantly surprised. You can always go back to 35, if necessary.

I changed to emu 34 using the skins on the device to get the iq routes to work, will have a look and see if 37 is on there and give it a try.

Cheers

Changed to 37 using the skin changer. It didn't like it for some reason, it just kept rebooting so I've gone back to emu 34.

It's showing I only have 3.9MB ram free. Any ideas on how to boost that a little?

I should probably add I haven't installed an sd card yet. When I do should I put all maps on this to help free up RAM? Also do I need to put the navcore on the sd or does it work with just the maps on it?

Sorry for so many news questions... :022:

1. The internal & a SD card are storage memory. They are no help In freeing up any of the 32MB RAM operating memory.
2. A XL setup has to be either ALL internal or ALL SD/SDHC card.

Sorry to be a pain again but I have one last question regarding using the sd card. I've noticed with the one xl I can only use a 2gb sd card.

So, what I was wondering was, can I use a different sd card for each different map I want to use and just copy and paste all of the tomtom files/folders on them too?

1. You can use any size SDHC card that you wish, by upping the bootloader to 5.5128 or higher.
Here is a link to Bootloader 5.5128. [Please Register or Login to download file] Unzip it and copy the "system" file, as is, to your internal. Disconnect and reboot. Done
2. Not necessary if you use the mini-tut in point 1.
