All Maps 900.XXXX & 901.XXXX

Postby birdsunlimited » Mon Dec 03, 2012 3:17 pm

thanks for getting back to me so quick. I have now spent five hours on this and its driving me nuts!!

The maps were installed correctly in the map folder in the root of the 910. The last part (part 11) of the downloaded map is smaller than the others as usual but part 5 is only 49mg as I said before. This can be seen on the download page here [Please Register or Login to download file] . Is this the problem then??

The last part, part 11, is smaller than the others as I would expect but part 5 is only 49mg as opposed to 200mg. This can be seen from the download page here http://linksave.in/18725962724fc359146ca31. Is this my problem then and if so what can I do about it...I could download the map without the 'automatic installer and patch' but I notice this has a smaller part 1 than the rest of the parts which alo doesn't seem right

Thank you for your help. All working fine now...Just out of interest why wouldn't I use 900.4602 map in place of the 890.4222 map as I assume it is the latest.

Navcore 9.465 & Western_and_Central_Europe_900_4602 or Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_900_4602 are current.

I have the France map 4611 for my professional car and I'd like to install it on my personal car.
Is there a way to find meta code on the offocial files ?

The compatibility chart in post 1 of this thread has your answer.

Downunder is the TT Team Carminat expert. He will be online later in the day. Take a look at his thread Carminat, share maps with other users until he pops up.

There are dedicated threads for the Carminat that would have answered your question.
To make it short:for the Live you're stuck.

I follow the discussions about it.
But I have the map tomtom service on the live product (my professional car) and I would like to use the card on the non live product (my personal car). But without the meta code it is not possible. May be I can find the meta code on the map installed in my live product. Usually I wait for the meta code here, then I copy the map on my personal car and activate it. I could avoid waiting for the meta code if it is in the original map !!! Do you understand what I mean ?
