Hi,
I tried to download the central Europe 915.5074 map.and followed the instructions viz:
"Scroll toward the bottom of the LinkSave.in page, that opens, until you see "The visitorpassword that you have entered is wrong" notice.
Below this notice, is a gray box titled Visitorpassword. Type navitotal in the gray box & click enter. The download link/links will be at the bottom
of the page that opens. Use the single downward pointing arrow under the word "Download" to download the map. DO NOT CHOOSE “ALL PARTS”
Couldn't find the gray box so just started to download part 1. During the download I had all sorts of Malware changing my homepage etc etc.
At the end of the download I managed to remove the offending programs but not without a lot of effort.
I then started to download part 2 but had the same problem so I stopped the download the only way I could, by disconnecting from the internet.
I then couldn't start my Google Chrome and had to re-install it. Also IE is totally corrupted and will also have to be re-installed. I used 4 A/V programs to try and rid my system of the Malware unfortunately the only program that gives a report is the last one I used MBAM. ADWcleaner cleared my registry of at least 12 infections, then JRT also found a lot and finally Hitman Pro cleared some as well. Obviously Linksave must append all of this malware to the downloads. Surely someone else must have experienced the same as I have!
Is there no other way to download the Maps,
Regards,
Dave
