Yeah tried it, still getting error from FileFactory saying the file requested cannot be downloaded at this time and as for the others I spent a whole other day trying to download them from their website from me clicking refresh to no avail.

I agree with the above guy. Unable to download keep getting no free slots. Tried a few times over the last couple days, After UK 5074 or 5106

I have been trying to download 915-5106 for the last week at least 4 times a day & have still not got a slot (even tried at 3.00 am) so i am beginning to think its more of an ad click thing than just slot availability.
I will keep trying a bit longer.

I experienced no such behaviour on filefactory so far. Last download without problem was on 1st Sep.

With of without JD - it doesn't matter.

Hi Popeye, are you stating that the (prolonged) absence of 'available download slots' now counts as a dead link?

So, downloading from FileFactory like everybody is complaining was a little time demanding job, but eventually free slots appeared.

I have a TT One with 1 GB of internal memory (no memory card slot), but the latest Western_Europe_1GB_915_5106 map is 1,2 GB, and won't fit on the device, unlike Europe_1GB_West_910_4952 that was only 800 MB.
Is there any workaround to fit Western_Europe_1GB_915_5106 map files on the device?

Not if you do not also have a SD card slot.

But you are advised to take a look at the Europe_1GB_South map.
Also for North and West.
Although v915 versions might not be (yet) available. You can take v910.

Europe_1GB_West is the one I've used. v910 is 800 MB and v915 is 1,2 GB, and so it doesn't fit.

Someone over at the official TT forums made a topic complaining about this, that supposedly 1GB maps are over 1GB and won't fit on the devices, so it seems a common problem with the latest maps (were they drunk when they compiled the map files? ).

It seems that v910 is the version to hold on to for now. Thanks

PS: Oh, I see what you mean now, Western_Europe_1GB and Europe_1GB_West are different maps - Western_Europe_1GB has Scandinavia, Denmark, Germany and Austria while Europe_1GB_West doesn't.
My mistake then, but still, the meta key for Europe_1GB_West v915 isn't available yet.

I've already take a look into that tutorial, but the TT GPS device isn't mine or else I'd put my soldering skills into practice

Part 3 from map "Europe_915_5074 with Automatic Installer & Patcher" seems to be corrupted (CRC failed while extracting part 3).

All other parts work properly!
