Just tried to switch maps showing both maps , new one being 920 5267 but won't allow switching to this map . Cannot see any files with dct in main page? Thanks

In 9205267 there are only .dat files and a PNA and META file respectively , apologies having to use 3G on iPhone to reply at moment.

On the screen it says as follows

1. Do you mean unzip rather than install?
2. Do you mean you put FA.exe in the UK & ROI maap folder? If so, did you include a copy of your ttgo.bif file?
3. Does your unit function using the original map? If so, has this original map been patched? If not, then your problem is your navcore is not patched.
4. See points 1, 2 & 3.

UPDATE. Based on post 74, your new map is not patched. Put FA.exe & a copy of your ttgo.bif file in the new map folder & run option 2 to patch it. A meta.dct file in the folder after running FA will confirm the map is now patched.

I'm sorry I'm new to this subject I basically did as follows copied the fast activate to my tomtom XL then clicked the fast activate icon, I then opened the downloaded 9205241 on my desktop and clicked exe it then proceeded to load onto my F: drive which is the tomtom , I have then after it installed disconnected the tomtom but get the things as mentioned in the myVersions notepad there is no information apart from the size of the storage In MB, I can still use the original map apologies for my ignorance I. Advance.

My device is XXXXX XXXXX currently on map 9.510 if I'm correct.

if you use some automatic map installer you need first install map to device and after that copy latest fastActivate.exe to root of device and run it use buttons 1,2 & 3

REMOVE YOU device ID from forum......

Yes, i know!
But there's no reference to "920.5226" map in the chart map picture in the post of the 920 maps. Only maps 5241, 5243, and so on.

Hence me asking if it's correct or if it really exists...
