A friend of me has a XXL with Western and central europe ver. 840. I tried to install the map of Italy ver. 930.5563, but was not accepted. The internal hard disck is too small to try other Europe maps and it's impossible to use an external memory card. What is the solution?

1. Now that is an oldie!!
2. Just a reminder. A 5563 map requires a 9.0XX or higher navcore, which must also be patched.
3. There are some Western Europe maps that might fit a 2GB memory, with a little altering. But they don't have the features, that 5563 has.
4. Take out the 840 map & install the Italy 930.5563 map.

Sorry. This is my first issue so I don't know where I should post. My situation

Stay with the 5563 map. It has IQ Routes & ALG. 5601 does not!

I summarize what I have done
1: from TomTom Home I updated the navcore from 8.4 to 9.510
2: Using easytools for keygen and ttsystem patcher I patched ttsystem and Italia 930.5563. To be able to install Italia, I deleted cnode and cname from Western... . The message was the same as when using a not patched navcore.
3: reinstalling cnode and cname the TomTom works
4: I patched a second time using the last version of fastactivate: a error message appear (incorrect lenght of..I do'nt remember exactly, but I think it was the device id) and also with the original map the same message appear and tomtom does'nt works.
5: I deleted all and I reinstall the old version, upgrading the navcore and quickgpsfix.
I think to suggest friend to buy the new map

I returned the XXL to friend af me, but I tried to work quietly using a SHDC card (8Gb) and TT home.
With Fastactivate I patched ttsystem, I istalled Italia 5563 and all works.
Now I'm waiting to copy on XXL
Finally was easykeygen who doesn't patch rightly
Let me thank you again for your help, it was really important

I forgot to inform you: this time I was ready with pen and pad to write the exact error message, if any

TENDRIVER... been away for some time but I thought the United_States_2GB-910.meta file matched the MAP # United_States_2GB_930_5563 or did something change
