Have you confirmed that your 6174 map is patched??
Why are you using Europe_Central_945_6174 instead of Europe_Central 955_6746 ????

Just tonight I had exactle the same model One IQ Routes which continued to restart although everything should have been in order.
I had deleted currentmap.dat and currentlocation.dat.

It seemed that currentmap.dat was recreated with the new map info but that the map was somehow unable to load and the device got into a loop routine.
Ttgo.bif did not show the new map data.

I reinstalled map. Didn't work.
I installed another map. Didn't work.
I reinstalled software. Didn't work
I reinstalled software from scratch via TTH. Didn't work.

At last, I formatted the memory and ran ClearFlash several times before reinstlling software and map.
After that I repeated the ClearFlash procedure.
After patching navcore and map, finally all was well.

Never had this happen to me before.
I did see some file resulting from the ClearFlash procedure which in first instance kept referring to the already deleted Western_and_Central_Europe map. So I kept on running it till it was gone.

Well, that was a completely different never-seen-that-before.
So your observation does not really cut it.

Besides, I managed to solve this one.
So thats no reason to interpret an earlier post as a lament.

Why the same map has the different size?
Eastern_Europe_945_6174 [386MB]
Europe_East_945_6174 [1731MB]

What the differents?

It might be a bit confusing but these are different maps!
Just compare the images and it's very self explanatory.
'Western'-European countries also got a higher coverage so they are bigger compared to the eastern-European countries.

As an alternative you can also install Africa. Bigger map, approx. 300 MB, but more recent.
