I've been out of the loop for a bit and am about to instal the latest full map for Australia and I can't remember what files I have to keep for recent destinations
I know to keep the speed cam files and I can't think of anything else...

I have downloaded Northern US and Canada 950.6548_Installer and I can't get the exe file to work. I load TAASE.EXE and I get a white command prompt screen that closes immediately. I've tried running as administrator, disabling antivirus and moving to a folder with no spaces. I'm on Windows 8.1 Pro x64

It works. Why did you extract files. Suggest that you read instructions. That saves stupid mistakes.

Thanks for the Australia map - after working out the LinkCrypt thing, I was able to successfully install it. I really like the installer that is included with the map, but the FastActivate was handy for other stuff as well. The 'password' could not be used the way you described, since there was no "Authorize' tab. The closest I could get was the 'Members' tab, which required an email address as well as a password. I had to download the file in .RAR, then use the password 'navitotal' to extract it. Thanks again, I really appreciate the work you've done.

Activation works but if i switch to the 950.6493 Europe Map the Navigation says: You can not use this Map on this Navigation Device.

Have someone an idea?

Did you check if the mapped was succesfully patched? (And did not result in an error?)

This is the classic message for an unpatched map. If you don't see a meta.dct file in the 950.6493 Europe Map folder, then put FastActivate.exe & a copy of your ttgo.bif file in the 6493 map folder & patch the map with Option 2.
