Europe_965_7280, filefactory is not working fully. E.g. file #2. Maybe it's temporary only for that file...
Error message from Filefactory the last 5 days for this file has been "File Unavailable. This file cannot be downloaded at this time. Please let us know about this issue by using the contact link below."
Both links for Europe 965_7280 are not working. Ie file #2 is missing from the server of the first file set, and file #8 from the patched set.

ALL files for both links are present, up and running & are in the green.

Thank you.
It would be better to see all these maps in 1 big torrent.
In the torrent itself you select which maps you want to download.
The links like this take up too much time, specially big maps.

It never ceases to amaze me that noobs join our forum, then in their first few posts, start complaining & try to tell us how to run it.

Just got member of this site,
I can't get any version of Mexico to work.
It is either not activating because the supplied meta code is not for the supplied map.
Or it activates, but it never shows on the device.
I'm not certain where the last issue goes wrong.
I followed all instructions, got Benelux to work perfectly,
But Mexico is like the only map that will not ever work.
It will not list on the device.
I'm using a TT XL with Navcore 9.510 with installer from this lovely site
thanks for that chaps.
I downloading compatible Mexico maps according to the charts, they just never show up in the list even when activated, having the .dct file correctly and all :S really weird
If anyone has an remote idea, let me know,
thanks.

Are you talking about Mexico 950.6491

Thanks for the quick reply, that was the first one I tried.
Does not work, since even with the auto installer it will not activate properly.
Last one I tested with was Mexico_960_7056, activated perfectly, but no luck showing up.
Now I just tested with renaming the 950 benelux folder I had on the device.
ANd renamed the Mexico folder too.
Activated again, and now suddenly it shows an choice during startup :S ok, not sure why it did not do that before.
I choose Mexico, and I can use mexico, but now Benelux doesn't show up anymore.
I tried resetting the device (waiting for the drumroll) but it does not show the option anymore.
So for this device with this Navcore, it seems like more than 1 map cannot coexist at the same time :S really weird.
Anyway, thanks for the help so far.
I'm new to TT since I'm doing this for my first time for a friend that's going to Mexico tomorrow.
So maybe this is expected behaviour I was not familiar with.
Thanks for the great forum

OH wait, after he get's a GPS fix, he says I'm not in Mexico and if I want to switch over to Benelux maps, aha....
So it works like that.
So I can sorta safely assume that when my friend is in Mexico, it will do the same and offer to change over to Mexico map? :-s
Hope I can send him away with this.
Fri Apr 15, 2016 11:34 am
And you can switch to a different map manually xD okay.
Sorry for me not knowing this yet.
Really new to TT
consider this solved.
YOu can change map in settings.
I was looking at destinations hoping mexico would show up as a country and only saw benelux ones.
Because it was fixed to Benelux map
anyway, now I know

[quote="Spaniard";p=150567]Thanks for the quick reply, that was the first one I tried.
Does not work, since even with the auto installer it will not activate properly.
Of course it will not activate becourse there is no meta for it (I said it before) But I onderstand it is working now wit a 960 map.
You can plan a route from A to B in the Mexico map.
Fri Apr 15, 2016 1:53 pm
Yep, all is working swell and my friend can go on vacation
Thanks for the loads of information here.
Yeah I was mistaken by that cause it looked like the meta was there, but it is for a different version of the same map version.
Really weird, only seems to be so weird for thyat map though, all the rest was crystal clear.
It was just my lack of experience with TT equipment that I did not know I had to manually switch 'main map' before I could see something.
Honest mistake :D

Its not a nice reply. Just because i don't post much, it doesn't mean i'm a noob.
Maybe i have been fiddling with Tomtom devices longer then anyone here and maybe not.
I'm just saying never underestimate anyone and be openminded to suggestions.
In my opinion torrents are a much better way to distribute new maps.
Standard hosting links can go dead any minute (by copyright claim or any other reason) and you have the hassle of uploading again.
Torrents stay online almost indefinitely. Depending of course on the amount of seeders, but usualy at least a year or 2 before the torrent is dead.
Also, you can insert as many maps as you like into one single torrent, its then up to the downloader to select which ones he or she wants.
Torrents can also not be taken down so easily by Copyright claim.
I still appreciate all the uploads on this forum and kudos to the uploaders.
