All Maps 970/971

filefactory, blocks downloads after half is completed, many a times downloaded files do not work for meta codes
or other issues.
why torrents are not used?

People don't bother to seed after downloading, so torrents are not used.

You didn't say which map you want? I've already given you a fast link to Europe_970_7466 but you didn't reply so it makes it difficult to help.

You should look at the meta codes so you can select a map that suits your needs and make sure it can be activated before downloading.

as advised downloading Europe_970_7466, and thats where I am stuck.
not that I have not been helped in the past, but filefactory or uplodad makes life difficult with throttle with band width.
spent hours without a clear download which I can use.
Could be that, 3rd world countries face the problem, but band width is not a problem here, it is the uploader links.

So many passwords and logins, at my age I tend to forget, babu is my pet name and chakraborty is my surname.
As advised, ran home and now I get a msg which says I can not run the maps in my device. maps 3 of them purchased when I bought the device..New Zealand, Greece and Europe , planning to visit europe, so I was trying to upgrade with newer maps.
Downloaded 965.7250, would not run..hunted and found no meta for the map.
was advised to use 970.7466.. File factory blocked my mail id, last 2 parts are missing from the installer pack.

So here I am..

i just downloadwd the uk maps and when i unzip them they say 940 maps

1. Download FastActivate from ->here<- and extract it to your device. Run it from there selecting options 2 & 3. Hopefully that'll fix your immediate problems. After that select option 7 and post the results here.

You talk about the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_940_7467 map.
In fact it is the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_970_7467 map.
If you open the pna. file in the map then you see the right name.
So you can use it.

Any way to move google map route to move to gps easily?

I want to install Europe_East_970_7466 on my TT XL v8.0x, because of the small size (765mb). But I see that 7466 is not compatible with v8.0x. Is it possible to load the map but without the extra functions like iqroutes, tts, etc. or will it not read the map at all?

No, it won't recognise the map at all.

You'll either have to upgrade the navcore to 9.0xx or above or choose a different map

@fredderf, thanks for the quick answer. I have upgraded to 9.0x and added europe east 7466 and it works great!
