Then you are doing something wrong. I just tried it and it is the right map. You can,t use that map because there is no meta available.

Hi, it worked perfectly, thank you for the instruction. Just felt uneasy with white menu background, seems that a gif or bmp is missing, or is it ok?

It is oke that is the way it is been modified. From origin this navcore is for newer devices
Compared to the nc 8.06x you have extra features Alg(advanced lane guidance) + IQ routes(Intelligence routes)

I am concerned also with the available memory, maps that I owe might not fit with this Navcore.

That is a problem but with the newest map of Brazil this is the only option.
You can delete the cspeech_BRA.dat file (25NB) from the map.
And with the NC 9.510 there is more choice of maps.

  copy extracted folder to sd (delete older map folder)
