You're welcome

There are two versions of that map with meta codes released so can be activated now:

Download the postcodes from post 1 the beginning of this topic. So it is a question off reading.

First of all: A Happy New Year to all of you.

I surely could use some help.
I have a TomTom XXL IQ Routes edition.
The map (Europe_2GB, v835.2448) is heavily outdated, so I installed TomTom HOME 2 on my laptop.
TomTom HOME 2 suggests to buy the map Western_Europe_980_7957.
So I downloaded it via Relink.to and unzipped it to my harddrive.
Once unzipped there were 2 maps: Western_Europe_980_7957 and Western_Mediterranean_Islands_980_7899.
First I removed the old Europe_2GB map from my TomTom.
Then, when I tried to copy the Western Europe map to my TomTom, it turns out to be too big (Total size: 1,84 GB, available space: 1,73 GB).
The Western_Mediterranean_Islands_980_7899 needs an additional 42MB available space.
This raises some quentions:
1. How can the files be too big when the original software suggests to buy and install Western_Europe_980_7957?
2. Are there any old files on my device which can (or must) be removed as well, before I can install the maps?
3. Which other map(s) can I install, still being able to use the fully potential of my device? (the following countries are necessary: Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, UK and all Scandinavian countries).

I would appreciate your help.

Central and Eastern Europe 980.7895 doesn't have a meta code released yet so can't be activated.

Report any map download problems to the relevant uploader...in the mean time there are other links here

1. Read carefully it said that these day,s the maps are to big so you have to pick a zonemap with less country,s
2. The only thing you have to remove is your old map.
3. Europe_Zone_North_980_7898
Nederland, België, Luxemburg, Duitsland, Estland, Letland, Litouwen,
Finland, Denemarken, Ierland, Noorwegen, Rusland, Engeland, Zweden

I thought that if TT Home suggests to buy a certain map it would automatically fit on my device, but that doesn't seem to be the case (allthough the program asks for the type and serialnumber of the device you're using). Strange kind of marketing.
I will try the map you suggested and I'll let you know if it works out.
Thanks for now!

Thnx but, that is not the case.

When I upload the link (For example Central Europe 980.7895, META CODE exist) in linkgrabber -> Jdownloader recommend through this site.
I get a report: The reguested Download URL was invalid..

How can I fix this?

Central Europe 980.7895 doesn't have a meta code released either....all meta's that have been released are posted on this page. If it's not on post #1 of that page, it doesn't exist.

Despite this, I've just installed Jdownloader to test out your problem...and it works fine. I can only assume you haven't downloaded the DLC file from the relink page & imported that file into Jdownloader correctly (as recommended on this site)...if you had, it would be working.

Central_Europe_980_7895 OR
Central_Europe_980_7895 with Automatic Installer & Patcher

These links point to the wrong files. You get Central and Eastern Europe. I need Central Europe alone, otherwise it won't fit on my TomTom XL.
Could you please update it?
Thanks!
