Please can you help me, I'm currently going through the process with the fault in the 8155 map and deleted the two files but your meta file will not open in latest 7zip. I might as well buy the map from TomTom if I have to buy Winrar. I spent about five hours on this so far and still no closer. Should I just srap the 8155 and download another one that works with my v95.40 Navcore? It's very frustrating to spend so long and then be stopped by a simple archive not opening. Hope you can help.

OK I gave up on the 8155 and downloaded the 8159. I'm using Navcore 95.40. When I run fastactivate it's now saying dct error on 101063.meta. This is a copy of my current config...

Ok, I can see what's happening...you're talking about the temporary meta.txt in post #4 (now removed) and you're using 7zip which is never a good idea as you've already found out. We recommend WinRAR as it's the most widely used so installing the latest trial version 5.40 would've fixed it with no purchase necessary. It says the same in post #6

However, you've downloaded UK & ROI 985.8155 which would be ok if you didn't have a 32MB ram device...and 985.8159 doesn't have a meta code released so won't work either.

You need to read the tutorial here

After reading that you'll see that if you download UK & ROI 985.8211, you'll have no further problems
