Hi guys, im installing a tomtom one for a collegue, but i have a problem.

I need a map with these countries, Netherlands,Germany,Switserland, and italy.

I have to tried to install map 990.8365/990.8306/990.8316, all south europe, and 1 west europe, these maps doesnt contain these countries.

Can you guys tell me wich map i need?

You should use Europe_Central 1Gb 990 8317 or Europe_South 1Gb 990 8317.

Do you have the metacode for these maps. Without the metacode you can,t activate and the maps are worthless.

Download FastActivate and you'll get them

Easier to find : Europe_South_990_8365 (the one you have)

Look at the map drawing on the link I sent to you.

Are you trying to be funny in post 2 you said.
You should use Europe_Central 1Gb 990 8317 or Europe_South 1Gb 990 8317.

I don,t think you have tried it. I said it before there is no metacodes
for these maps.

Don,t advise some map if there is no meta code available.
You wasted a lot of peoples time when after downloading the map can,t be activated.

I meant maps 990.8365 are easier to find on the web than 990.8317 (maybe the reason you gave: there are no meta for 990.8317 ...)

1. Yes, there is a meta for Europe South so it will activate successfully

2. Yes, Europe South does include Italy & Switzerland but it does not contain Netherlands or Germany

3. Holyhead is right...there is no point recommending a map to someone if there is no meta code to activate it, you're only wasting their time.

We can see that you're only trying to help, but you should check to see if the meta code is already posted here before you make a map recommendation.

TomTom maps have increased in size a lot recently so it's going to be difficult to find a map that is:

a. small enough to fit on a TT One
b. contains all of the countries you want
c. already has a meta code released

You can keep asking the same question but it doesn't change the fact that your TT One doesn't have enough storage space to contain a map with all of the countries you're asking for, so either buy another TT with more storage space or reduce your expectations. See post #11 above.

This is the reason why TomTom have stopped supporting TT One's

I installed TomTom Map Europe Central 990_8365 on it, and it works, the meta was availible, and the map contains all the countries that i wanted.

i want to thank evrybody that put a effort to help me.
